Trace Equalization

Program BPLT is a true amplitude plot, the x-axis label indicates the amplitude of a single trace deflection. At times, there is a need to see detail in both low and large amplitude portions of a shot gather. This can be done by running program BEQU on the data, and then plotting that. For example,
bequ c008.seg 0. 0.5 equalizes each trace amplitude using the L2 norm. Then run BPLT on file bequc008.seg. For example,
bplt bequc008.seg 4 0 1 1 100 0 0.6 1 2.0 200 7.0 3.0
