bsum - BSU program sums two data sets. (C-Language Version)
bsum [ -h | infile1 | infile2 | scalef ]
Basic Seismic Utilities (BSU) computes the weighted sum of two seismic data sets. The second data set can be weighted by a scale factor (-1.0 would subtract the second from the first). C-Language Version.

Input file name

scalef (float)
Scale factor to multiply second data set by.
output=infile1 + scalef*infile2
NOTE:
If invoked with no options, will prompt user for input
parameters.
EXAMPLE:
bsum bequbshf.seg bmedbequ.seg -1.0
File bmedbequ.seg is subtracted from bequbshf.seg.
bsumxxxx.seg
named according to convention (first 4char bsum, the next 4char are the first 4char of the input file name, suffix .seg)
standard output
produces a progress bar
bsumxxxx.lst
Echo check of input parameters in listing file.
